Arguments Concerning the Scriptures That Seem to Say Jesus was God

I've listed below some of the texts that Trinitarians use to support their contention that Jesus was/is God. The first ten are from the list on page two. Each line is a link that will take you to my view of each text. Many of these are copy-and-pasted responses from the correspondence with my Greek friend. In trying to come to an understanding of any passage I usually spend time with it first - by myself - and try to come up with a satisfactory understanding. I then do some research and try to find others who have arrived at the same or similar understanding to mine, as well as specific arguments against my understanding, trying to find a fatal flaw.

1) [Jesus]...existing in the form of God, did not consider being equal with God a grab, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, becoming in the likeness of men...(Php 2:7).

2) God was manifested in [the] flesh, justified in [the] spirit, seen by heavenly angels, proclaimed among nations, believed in the world, taken up in glory. (1Ti 3:16)

3) The first man was from the earth, earthly, the second the Lord from heaven (1Co 15:47).

4) ...of whom is the Christ (in terms of the flesh), who is God over all, blessed in the ages-- Amen. (Ro 9:5).

 5) Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. (John 8:58).

6) And now glorify me, You, Father, by Yourself, with the glory I had PRIOR to the world, with You. (John 17:5).

7) And Thomas replied and said to Him, My Lord and my God. (John 20:28)

8) We declare to you the Eternal Life, which was before the Father and was revealed to us (1Jo 1:2).

9) Behold, the virgin will have in her womb, and will bring forth a son. And they will call his name Immanuel, which is, being interpreted, God with us. (Mt 1:23).

10) And his name shall be called...Mighty God Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace. (Isa 9:6)

11) Out of you [Bethlehem] he shall come forth to me who is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth (from exodoi > proceedings) are from of old, from everlasting. (Micah 5:2).

12) For this Melchizedek...[someone that was] fatherless, motherless, without ancestry, having neither a beginning of days nor an end of life, but resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest in the perpetual. (Heb 7:1-3)

13) I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come,  the Almighty. (Rev 1:8)

14) Jesus accepted worship, therefore he is God.

15) But of the Son he says, "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever, the righteous scepter is the scepter of thy kingdom...And, "Thou, Lord, didst found the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of thy hands (Heb 1:8, 10).

16) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...and the Word became flesh...(John 1:1-14)
